Easily Manage Replication of Content, Configurations, Security, and Users Settings Between Locations in Real-Time

Select your source and destination(s) with drop-and-drag ease from the easy-to-use graphical interface. Then select which content, configurations, securities, and users (or all of the above) you’d like to replicate. Finally, choose whether you want scheduled (down to 15-minute increments) or “live”, event-driven replication, and customize any event-triggers you wish. Your replication setup is complete!

Keep Offices in Sync with Conflict-free Synchronization of Content, Configurations, Security, and User Settings

Replication plans can be set up to run one time, on a synchronization schedule, or in real-time. Synchronization can either be one-way, two-way/bidirectional, or one-to-many. Customizable conflict resolution rules can be set up for two-way replication, including rules based on location, modified time, and version number. Resolution options include skip, overwrite, and merge, with optional end-user notification with conflict-resolution suggestions. Deletion-events can even be replicated and synchronized between locations (optional). Live, event-based replication is fully customizable, based upon any number of event-triggers, including modification and deletion events.

Control the Bandwidth and Network Traffic

Choose full content replication or only replicate incremental changes (down to the byte-level), adjust the synchronization schedule or “live” replication event-triggers, turn on the optional data compression, or adjust the throttle controls settings. DocAve Replicator gives you numerous options to control performance and network traffic, empowering you to replicate content even over slow connections.

Perform Off-Line Replications Between Locations

Store replication data on a local or network drive for off-line replication. This allows you to physically move data from one location to another when network connections do not exist.

DocAve Replicator Technical Overview

DocAve Replicator allows SharePoint administrators to replicate content, configurations, securities, and users from one SharePoint location to another, both within the same SharePoint farm and across farms. Replication can be “live” (event-triggered) or on a set schedule so that content, configurations, securities, and users can be synchronized between SharePoint sites and objects. Live replication triggers are fully customizable, and replication can executed in both full or incremental. Incremental replication can be at the file or byte levels. DocAve Replicator gives you a full range of enterprise-class options and features.

  • Graphical, Windows Explorer-like ‘drop-and-drag’ mapping enables fast and intuitive replication mapping
  • Customizable, real-time replication based on event triggers
  • Template-based replication to create reusable replication plans to standardize replication process across your SharePoint environment

  • Select the replication source at any level from an entire web application down to a single version of an item.

  • Choose whether to replicate content, configurations, securities, users, or any combination of these- granularly or in bulk.
  • Replicate the selected source to multiple destinations and setup separate synchronization schedules for each destination.
  • Replications can be one-way or two-way/bidirectional.
  • Overwrite and skip options available for configuration or security replication.
  • Overwrite, skip, and merge options are available for content replication.
  • Replication conflicts can be resolved based on a customizable set of rules, including data location, modified time, and version number, and conflicting parties notified of the issue with recommended resolutions.
  • Byte-level replication option to replicate file deltas enables low-bandwidth replication (Requires a cache area on both sides).

DocAve Replicator has a fully distributed software architecture and can support an unlimited number of SharePoint farms. DocAve requires an appropriate Agent to be installed on servers in your SharePoint environment.

The DocAve software licenses include 60 days of software maintenance and technical support. Additional maintenance packages can be purchased for a percentage of the software license cost:
